Q-SUN Xenon Tester Calibration

Temperature Calibration

The onboard black panel temperature sensor on the Q-SUN Xe-1 and the optional chamber air temperature sensor require periodic calibration by the user to ensure accurate and consistent testing results.

Irradiance Calibration

The onboard SOLAR EYE irradiance sensor also requires periodic calibration to maintain testing accuracy and consistency.

ISO 17025 Accredited Recalibration

The UC202 thermometer and UC20 radiometer should be recalibrated annually.

These cost-effective single-use devices can either:

  • Be replaced yearly with newly calibrated units
  • Be returned to Q-Lab for affordable recalibration services

Drain Pump

An optional drain pump is available for Xe-1 models.

Q-Lab also offers a 0° adapter wedge to tilt the Xe-1 chamber backward so the specimen tray remains horizontal.

This helps:

  • Retain water on specimens instead of allowing runoff
  • Prevent soft or viscous materials from flowing
  • Keep liquid specimens level during testing

Water Purification System

To significantly reduce operating costs for optional water spray systems, Q-Lab offers a water recirculation purification system that reuses water typically discharged into drains.
