What Is Silicone Elastomer Gel?
Silicone elastomer gel is a type of formulation that combines the flexibility and elasticity of silicone, consisting of silicon and oxygen linkage chains. This compound is added to cosmetic products such as makeup and skincare to enhance their color and provide a comfortable skin feel upon application. It absorbs excess oil to provide dry smoothness and a light silky skin, non-greasy feel.
Comparison Types of Silicone Elastomer Gel
There are several types of silicone elastomer gel, such as:
TCE 3063
TCE-3063 is a colorless translucent paste and is composed of Dimethicone and Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. It is easy to formulate and can be applied in cold process, It can reduce tackiness of formulations and provide dry, smooth and silky skin feel. Also it can thicken grease in formulation.
TCE 3068
Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone. TCE-3068 is a thickening agent. It is a mixture of high molecular weight silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane. It is stable and safe, easy to formulate, reduces tackiness of formulation and can be applied to cold process, reduces the feeling of sticky formula and give the skin a sense of luxury and smoothness, non-greasy and offers quick absorption and dry and silky skin feel.
TCE 3062
TCE-3062 is a colorless to yellowish/ transparent to translucent paste and is composed of Dimethicone and Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. It is easy to formulate and can be applied in cold process, can reduce tackiness of formulations and provide dry, smooth and silky skin feel. Also it can thicken grease in formulation.

- TCE 3047 U and 3068 Has good blurring pore with matte and low residue
